Major League Baseball announced today that Matt Holliday will replace the injured Miguel Cabrera as the last entrant in this year’s Home Run Derby, joining Prince Fielder, Albert Pujols and defending champion (and non-All Star) Ryan Howard on the National League team. The four sluggers have combined for 81 home runs this year and take on an American League team made up of Alex Rios, Justin Morneau, Magglio Ordonez and Vladimir Guerrero; the AL team has combined for 68 dingers.
