Vick Pleads Guilty, More "Now" Than Ever Before

Michael Vick has agreed to plead guilty to federal dogfighting charges, although his prison sentence still isn’t known.

“After consulting with his family over the weekend, Michael Vick has asked that I announce today that he has reached an agreement with federal prosecutors regarding charges pending against him,” Billy Martin, one of Vick’s attorneys, said in a statement.

“Mr. Vick has agreed to enter a plea of guilty to those charges and to accept full responsibility for his actions and the mistakes he has made. Michael wishes to apologize again to everyone who has been hurt by this matter.”

Apparently the gambling allegations could get Vick banned from the NFL for life, according to the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.

Additionally, the news regarding Vick took up almost the entire homepage on, a feat usually reserved for championship teams minutes after their final victories.

With the large picture on the homepage and a plethora of articles regarding the situation, Vick proved once and for all that he is more “Now” than any other athlete on the planet.

Congrats Mike!
