Rangers Set Record with 30 Runs Against Orioles

The Texas Rangers scored 30 runs in the final six innings of their game against the Baltimore Orioles last night, setting the American League Record for most runs scored in a game. The Orioles were leading 3-0 until the Rangers dropped 5 in the fourth inning, 9 in the sixth inning, 10 in the eighth inning and 6 more in the ninth.

Ramon Vazquez hit two home runs for the Rangers, while Travis Metcalf and Marlon Byrd both hit grand slams. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, like Vazquez, drove in seven runs in six at bats.
