#1 overall pick Greg Oden will undergo his second surgery since being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers, this time for pain in his right knee. The exploratory arthroscopic surgery follows his previous one to remove his tonsils.
Oden felt pain in his right knee during a workout in Portland last week and had an MRI done last Thursday. He has stopped working out all together and doctors will not have a better indication of what is causing the pain until after the surgery.
Training camp begins for the Blazers in three weeks and their opening game will be on October 30th at San Antonio.
